Social - Ballroom Dancing
Ever fancied giving Ballroom Dancing a try? Our choir member Connie competed at National League U35s and has volunteered to run a beginners introductory class for us, so we can give it a try! It'll be 10:30am - 12:30pm at Ashley Green Village Hall, so we can work up an appetite before Sunday Lunch!

This event will be a fundraiser for Air Ambulance, who collected Connie immediately after breaking her spine. This quick intervention is the reason she can still dance and teach us all. If you'd like to participate, we're asking for a £5 (or more!) donation for this lovely cause. Connie is giving her time for free so please give generously and all the profits will go directly to the charity! Space is limited, so RSVP if you'd like to participate. Paul will collect your donations at choir.
HOW THE CLASS WILL WORK: Wear comfy clothes you can dance in... and shoes ideally that don't have too much grip. At first we'll warm up and learn a few steps individually. Then we'll pair up and try dancing together. You don't need to bring your own partner, we'll find you willing choir members! It should be great fun. You can go at your own pace and there'll be plenty of seats if you need a rest at any point!
It's a beginners class but if you've danced ballroom before then you're still very welcome and may be able to help out some of our absolute beginners! Please look after each other and avoid this event if you're feeling ill :)
