Social - Boat Trip!

OVERVIEW

The boat leaves at 11am from Waterways Experiences at Nash Mills Recreation Centre (HP3 9TE), and boarding will be from 10.45am. You can bring your own picnic or purchase fish and chips on the day. We'll meander along the canal, having drinks, singing songs or whatever everyone wants to get up to! The are opportunities to drive and to open the locks for anyone who wants. Tea and coffee will be provided, but feel free to bring your own drinks as well. Alcohol is allowed!

WEATHER / WHAT TO WEAR

The forecast is 15-17 degrees and RAIN!! Thankfully it’s not an open air boat… but please do bring waterproofs anyway, for when embarking / disembarking etc!  If you’d like to help with the locks, please wear suitable footwear eg rubber soles/trainers/walking boots. 

DRINKS

Tea, coffee and mugs are provided, but feel free to bring your own drinks as well. Alcohol is allowed!  

FOOD

For anyone who wants we’ll be getting Fish & Chips (Price-list attached). Please bring cash to pay for this. Or if you prefer you’re welcome to bring your own snacks / picnic. The boat comes with cutlery, plates, tomato and brown sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper.  If you have any serious allergies please let me know asap! Or tell the skipper before boarding. 

ILLNESS

Please do not join the trip if you have symptoms of any disease (e.g. Covid, Influenza, E.coli or Norovirus).
