Social - Craft Workshop in the pub!
10am - Midday: Our wonderful choir member Lisa (growingbright.co.uk) is going to lead this lovely summer morning workshop in the conservatory at The King Charles Pub! For anyone who wants to, feel free to stick around for lunch after too!

OVERVIEW A lovely sociable morning in the pub, making recycled newspaper bowls (pictured below).
From workshop leader Lisa: "Hi Everyone! I’m really looking forward to running a craft workshop for you all on Saturday. We’ll be making recycled newspaper bowls 🤗 I love these. I use them for containing my many earrings, but they’re great for holding ‘bits and pieces’ like keys, loose change etc. they’re really simple to make, once you’ve got the hang of the process of rolling the newspaper. I’ll be there to help guide and assist if anyone needs support. I’ll bring all of the materials and I’m asking for a donation to Diabetes UK as my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 in 2024 and I wanted to do something to support the charity. PARKING The King Charles Pub has plenty of free parking outside.
