Social - Wine Tasting Evening

This is our big social event for June and after the success of the Women's Aid gig and party... should be another cracker!

Doors open at 7pm (Ashley Green Village Hall) and tastings begin at 7.30pm. Chris from Monday choir will guide us through 9 wines from the Loire region of France, which boasts the biggest diversity of wines produced in any region of the world. Chris will share his expertise from 35 years experience in the wine industry (now running his own wine agency, importing wines to the UK).

Chris is giving his time for free and we've been given the hall for free... AND we're not running this for profit, so the aim is to do wonderful things for charity. ALL proceeds from the evening will be going straight to The Hospice Of St Francis! 

Tickets are £30

This includes tasting of 9 wines!

Guided talk through all the wines.

A Selection of cheese and food items to compliment the wines.

Tasting Sheets and stationary for you to make notes

Roughly £10 of your ticket price will go directly to the hospice of St Francis! 

On top of all this, the hall will be decorated to look as beautiful as possible... and Paul will be on hand to serenade you on piano when you arrive. After the tastings, if people want a choir sing-along or party, we can play it by ear.    

We can also help co-ordinate taxis so people can share and save money. There may be one or two people available to give lifts on the night too. 

Info on this page previously asked you to bring your own wine glasses but that is no longer necessary. These will be provided. 

If you want to bring your own drinks for afterwards please feel free to do so! Paul will be ready for sing-along, disco or whatever you want to end the evening. It might be a gentle one or it could turn into a big night. Either way is fine!
