Waddesdon Manor - Inclusive Singing Afternoon

WADDESDON MANOR: This gig is an event for Chiltern Music Therapy.  The day will start 1pm with workshops that anyone can rock up to. Then around 3pm we'll have a choir rehearsal where we'll invite others in attendance to learn a song or two with us.  Finally at 3.30/4pm we'll perform a set of Choir on The Green songs.  

1pm Singing Circle: This inclusive workshop is open to everyone. We will be singing songs from around the world and exploring our voices within the space around us. People are welcome to come in and out of the singing circle as they need, or can simply be part of the space and enjoy listening and relaxing to a beautiful blend of voices together. 

2pm Songwriting: We will be using the grounds of the manor to inspire participants in this interactive songwiting session.  Explore how to create a song as a group, be part of writing creatively in the moment! No previous musical experience necessary and everyone welcome to contribute as much or as little as they like.

3pm Choir Rehearsal: We'll be inviting Silver Singers and Let's Sing choirs to join us, teaching them a couple of Choir On The Green songs (Moon River and Make You Feel My Love), so that they can join in for our performance!  This should be a really uplifting and unique rehearsal!! 

3.30/4pm PERFORMANCE: We'll sing a few of our usual Choir On The Green repertoire and then invite the other choirs to sing with us at the end.  Hopefully we'll have lots of public in attendance and the location is beautiful, so it should be a really wonderful moment for a lovely cause!
