Absolutely lovely afternoon with our retirement village choir, teaming up with Choir On The Green for a performance in the village marquee. Thank you to everyone who came along in the choirs and audience to make it such a special afternoon :)

Huge thank you to Lisa for running this lovely morning and to The King Charles Pub for having us. £363 raised for Lisa's chosen charity: Diabetes UK. £2700 raised for Scannappeal at this joyful evening at St Mary's Church in Chesham. Choir On The Green were part of a wonderful trio of acts which also included the Luvvies and The Luminotes. Congrats to Paul Woodstock who pulled it all together and to the Scannappeal team and brilliant volunteers. Also as always, well done to choir and thanks to everyone who supported this evening!!

Over the weekend we sang on the green at Ashley Green Village Fair and Petertide Fair in Berkhamsted, the latter raising £6000 towards the church roof. These were a lovely opportunity for several choir members to do their first performances with us... and for some of our long term choir members to sing and fulfill their other hobby of winning all the raffle prizes at any given event. Last week we had our Choir On The Green Summer Concert. The evening raised £4433 for local charity DENS. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night possible: the team from Dens; all the volunteers and helpers; everyone who donated raffle prizes; Berkhamsted School; our Soloists Simon, Ella and Becca; Laura for filming; the brave choir members who let off some extremely explosive party poppers; Masters Of The Tuneiverse (who are an awesome party band if ever you need one

We were delighted to sing at this event to protect Berkhamsted Castle Fields as a space for nature wildlife and the community to enjoy as green land, rather than becoming a site for development. Thanks to James Moir for inviting us and to everyone who came along to support this cause. The most important thing though is donations. According to at least two choir members, this was the best day of their entire lives. Whilst it might lead some to question how this ranked higher than their wedding days and the birth of their own children, let's put that aside for the moment and just say this was a GREAT DAY!! £3000 raised for local charities!! Thanks to everyone who came along to sing, watch or help at our concert. The money will be split between The Hospice Of St Francis and Gaddesden Place Riding For The Disabled. Huge thanks to St Peter's and Simon for hosting this. £1000 raised for local charity: Sunnyside Rural Trust. Thanks to everyone who came along, helped set up, bought raffle tickets, donated raffle prizes etc and supported this lovely cause. Congrats to our winning team of brainiacs... and huge thanks to Gill and Jim for hosting! x

I'm so happy to say our concert raised £6000 for Chiltern Music Therapy. Huge congrats to everyone involved from choir, to soloists, to audience and crew. Special shoutout to young Amelia who after losing her voice in soundcheck, came back and performed amazingly: WHAT A MOMENT!! So proud of you all. Paul xx

£1521 raised for the Hospice Of St Francis, and many commuters wonderfully late to their destinations, after stopping to watch us. Congrats to everyone in Choir On The Green and the other local choirs who took part! x

This is a lovely tradition for us and a wonderful fundraiser for this local charity. The night rasied £4000 for Scannappeal. Hopefully see you all again same time next year! xx\

You may hear rumours we're a classy group who dress elegantly / visit spas. Whilst this is correct we also like standing on the stairs singing songs about snow, so this trip had everything. £300 raised for DENS homeless charity.

I'm so happy to say our 10th Anniversary concert was a full house and raised £7500 for The Hospice Of St Francis! Congrats to choir who were WONDERFUL! We had people who'd been in the choir for 10 years and others who'd joined only a few weeks ago, but everyone came together to make it a great night. We also had so much choir royalty in the audience including Elizabeth (94), Marion (90), Julie who travelled from Dorset... and many many others. It was so lovely seeing you all
