Choir On The Green
Choir on The Green are fun, friendly choirs in for all ages and abilities. I started my first choir in 2015 as I'd moved to a new area and didn't know anyone. I thought it’d be a good way to make some friends! Since then we’ve grown several choirs and a lovely community, welcoming new people all the time. You don’t have to audition, or commit in any way. It’s £5 on the door at all of our choirs and if you’re nervous you can just sit at the back and enjoy the music! All social events and gigs are voluntary too! The groups are really friendly and whilst our goal is always great sounding music, everyone and anyone is welcome. You don’t need to be able to read sheet music and if you’re not sure how well you sing, don’t worry… enough voices together and we always sound great! If you’d like to come along and give it a try, feel free to get in touch!
2020 COVID UPDATE
Choir rehearsals are now running online until further notice. Whilst it's not the same as meeting in person, we're still having a good time chatting, exercising our voices and rehearsing for our virtual choir videos. Anyone is welcome to the online sessions. If you'd like to take part, get in touch and we'll send you details of how to join in using Zoom video conferencing. All you'll need is a computer, tablet or phone and I can help you with the rest. Unlike other choirs in person, we're not restricted by location, so anyone can participate from anywhere! Drop us a message if you'd like to give it a try.
